Climate change, the discovery of the Higgs boson or the loss of biodiversity are some of the themes that the graphic humorist Antonio Fraguas ‘Forges’ reflected repeatedly in his cartoons. The demand for more resources for a quality Spanish science also occupied his drawings and texts. On the occasion of its 80th anniversary, the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) has produced an exhibition that includes a selection of cartoons by the cartoonist starring science and technology.

"Science according to Forges" includes 66 vignettes published in the newspaper El País between 1995 and 2018 and, after being exhibited in Madrid and Barcelona, will land very soon in La Casa de la Ciencia de Sevilla.
