In the new space “We are CSIC”, through different museological devices, the Museum accommodates, on a rotating and temporary basis, the projects and research carried out in the different CSIC centers in Andalusia and Extremadura. The objective of this new offer is that the visiting public can learn in a pleasant and informative way, but without losing sight of the scientific rigor, the research activities of the CSIC, institution to which the Museum belongs and which constitutes the main organism of Country research and one of the most important in Europe and the world.
The space has been inaugurated with content offered by two institutes located in Seville, the Institute of Microelectronics of Seville (mixed with the University of Seville, and the National Accelerator Center (mixed with the University of Seville and the Junta de Andalucía); and two others located in Granada, the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA) and the Andalusian Institute of Earth Sciences (IACT), mixed with the University of Granada.
